Sir: Indeed, Ruth Winawer is right (letter, 10 June). The Bishop of Coventry's crozier is made of a narwhal horn and can be seen in our Cathedral's visitors' centre. May a whale never again be sacrificed to the whims of an architect, even one as distinguished as Sir Basil Spence.
