Sir: The vocal device which Rabbi Dr Reuven Silverman suggests should be a standard in-car fitting (Letters, 6 June), to warn a driver of "the perilous consequences of his actions" when recklessly overtaking or tail-gating, was first developed some years ago and is an optional extra from the Maker: Genesis 2:18 "And the Lord God said, it is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help-meet for him."
