Letter: BBC in steam age

Sir: It may be too early to comment on the quality of programme on Classic FM but there seems no doubt about the quality of reception, at least in this part of the country. On hi-fi, portable transistor and car radio it relegates Radio 3 and Radio 4 to steam radio. One wonders why the BBC cannot give us something similar after all these years.
