Letter: Be positive, don't damn the yobs

Sir: This morning, while waiting patiently to proceed in my own lane at the busy Shepherd's Bush roundabout, a shirt-sleeved mobile phone-toting executive in a large BMW attempted to force me out of the lane and to cut in. When he failed, he hooted and gesticulated angrily. A fine example of John Major's yobbishness, quite unrelated to social deprivation - more a symptom of the 'gimme' culture of the Thatcher years.
