Sir: In his speech to the Labour Party conference, Tony Blair emphasised the need to raise standards in education. Does he include punctuation among the standards he hopes to raise? If so, it is perhaps unfortunate that television coverage of the conference showed a placard advertising 'Copies of the Leaders' Speech'.
