Letter: Catholic Church must change to survive

If Alice Thomas Ellis does not understand the reasons for the reduction in the attendance at mass in the Liverpool archdiocese perhaps I can enlighten her - it is simply that our young people have had to move away, not just from Liverpool but from the North-west in general, in order to find worthwhile careers. It is no coincidence that the numbers have risen in Westminster.
