Sir: Your leading article about marriage lets you down. I will ignore your side-swipe at us papists, but rush to the aid of Jesus.

If he reads your paper - and being independent he surely must - you can expect a letter from him shortly, complaining about your pronouncement that his commandments are no longer binding.
