CONGRATULATIONS to the Government in stopping water companies from dumping sewage at sea ("Water firms forced to clean up and cut bills", 20 September.) But this sewage must go somewhere. Some 50 per cent of treated and untreated sewage is put on agricultural land. Are we to save the sea at the expense of the potential pollution of our food and water supplies?
