Letter: Duke's tax burden

Sir: Anna Raeburn repeats a popular smear on royalty, alleging that the Duke of Edinburgh is a 'member of a family which until last year paid no tax at all' ('Dear Prince Philip, 13 June). In fact, Prince Philip and other members of the Royal Family have always paid tax, just as they have been supporters of numerous charities.
