Letter: Economic key to Baltic stability

Sir: While we, the G7, refused to give the Russians more than dollars 1.5bn to help them to their economic feet, we've gone on spending dollars 150bn a year on new arms for Nato powers. So we can hardly be surprised when they elect anti-Western nationalists as their largest party. We should change our policy rapidly and before they elect their next President.
