Sir: The question is, did Marianne Macdonald enjoy herself ('Fashionable young find East End ecstasy', 8 February)? It seems to me she spent the night painting the most surreal, macabre and ominous picture she could for your readers. Did I read about a party? Or rather some kind of medieval ceremony?
