Letter: Government under fire: calls for coalitions, resignations and public demonstrations

Sir: I recall a quotation from Euripides which says: 'Those whom God wishes to destroy, he first makes mad.'

Sadly, the behaviour of the present government over the pit closures seems to confirm that nothing changes.
