COMPLEMENTARY therapists are not a cohesive group. Much snobbery and suspicion exists between the therapies and therapists. Practitioners of homeopathy are often horrified to find themselves placed beside crystal therapists at "complementary health fairs". Let us not forget that traditional Chinese medicine has a history which spans four millennia. "Orthodox" medicine looks like nothing more than a passing fad.
