Letter: League tables don't serve NHS

Sir: The hospital where our son is a consultant surgeon, through working round the clock to reduce waiting lists, has had operating theatres and wards closed because the money has run out.

I am sure it would find a better use for half a million pounds than to have it spent on a league table supposedly to reduce waiting lists.

Is there any plan to publish league tables for MPs?
