Letter: Lone parent policy
Sir: In the Labour Party document Parenting written by Jack Straw MP as shadow Home Secretary, and Janet Anderson MP as shadow Minister for Women, and published last year, it is stated (p26) that: "Lone parents should be seen as a group on whom more support should be targeted in the interests of their children, rather than scapegoated as the current government has done."
Is the current Labour policy attributable to collective Cabinet amnesia ?
