Letter: Moral reasoning on schools' rubella vaccination
Sir: Is the headmaster of Ampleforth being entirely consistent? He believes his students should not benefit from an evil act, so they should not receive vaccine derived, many years ago, from an aborted foetus. But I assume he believes his boys and girls receive benefit from an evil act of 2,000 years ago, the killing of Christ, and that he encourages the celebration of this in the Mass. No?
Yours sincerely TONY BELL London SW4 27 October
