Sir: Rob Brown asserts (Media+, 27 October) that The Times, The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian and The Independent are "generating over pounds 700m in revenue but not one of these four papers is currently turning a profit". The Telegraph is not only turning a profit but has done so for the past nine consecutive years.
