Letter: The national lottery: charitable uses for the money
Sir: Your front page today ('Lottery promises millionaires and museums', 18 December) says that Downing Street described the national lottery as 'the Government's Christmas present to the nation'.
Would it not be more accurate to describe it as 'the nation's Christmas present to the Government'?
