Letter: Who gets what from charity card sales

Sir: May I correct a misunderstanding in Charles Oulton's piece. The great majority of Cancer Research Campaign's Christmas cards are sold by direct mail order or through our 200-plus charity shops. The gross profit on these is 45 per cent. Some are sold through other outlets where the profit to the campaign is, of course, somewhat less.
