Letter: Woodward trial

Sir: If Louise Woodward was not responsible for the death of Matthew Eappen, who was? Experts should be looking seriously at the behavioural problems of Matthew's brother Brendan for possible solutions.

The British nanny Catherine Blood says she turned down a job with the Eappen family because she thought Brendan could do damage to himself because of his hyperactivity and aggressive manner (report, 1 November). Just what damage could an over-boisterous two-year-old do to a baby?
