l AT LAST! A sane voice emerges from the hysteria. On the subject of sex in women's magazines ("We can have enough sex but never enough sexual gossip", 15 October), Neal Ascherson has set himself apart from all the other commentators/ rent-a-quotes; he's actually bothered to read them. Thank you.
