LETTERS: There's more to fear from measles than from an injection

MY HEART went out to Karen and her son Sam as I read the article about children falling ill after the measles vaccination.

On the day my son Steven was due to have his measles vaccination last year, I went along to the school to ask a few questions. I was made to feel like a "silly little mummy" who should not question what the Government said should happen to my child.

For a few moments I was totally torn. But inside a voice screamed out to me not to have it done and thank God I listened.

You see, like Sam, Steven is doing well at school and loves football, and, like Sam, Steven has mild asthma.
