If Joan Smith had ventured outside Tuscany more often she might not be so puzzed at the choice of wine for the Prime Minister's unch in Boogna (10 August). Over the regiona border in Emiia, Lambrusco is often served because it is the idea accompaniment to the rich food of that region.
