YOUR front-page story claiming that I was refusing to supply information on my interests in Lloyd's to the Register of Members' Interests and that I face losses of pounds 150,000, was totally wrong. I have not refused to supply the relevant information, which appears in the current update of the register. I am not a member of Lloyd's but do have a very limited involvement in a couple of syndicates with open years.

I cannot imagine how your reporter came up with the figure of pounds 150,000 that I am alleged to have lost. As my involvement with Lloyd's has only been minimal, my losses are only a small fraction of those quoted.
