LETTERS:A woman's place is where she wants it to be

Sir: Esther Oxford, in her article on Maternal Correctness ("Motherhood isn't for wimps") fails to mention the prerequisite private income/rich husband that might enable us stressed-out working mothers to chuck it and achieve perfection at home.

I'd love to appear punctually, "chic, cool and collected" with my children in "co-ordinated outfits" at the school gates. But who is going to pay?

Yours faithfully, Ros Kindersley London, SW4
