"...WE GOT not only the St James version, but 'I know a bank where the wild thyme grows'" ("Shakespeare and ...", 15 February). Three cheers for the radical school that inspired Pam Gems! I learnt the King James version and "a bank whereon the wild thyme blows" and ended up manning computers.
