“Every time it snows, our school janitor makes a little miracle,” a student at a school in Russia wrote this week.
He wasn’t pictured, but you can kind of imagine him out there on the playground, slowly sweeping away before heading up to the fourth floor of the school to check the proportions.
Only two of his efforts have been posted so far, the Dostoyevskian winter scene (above), and a flower and butterfly pattern (below).

“Your janitor should not be a janitor,” someone commented on Reddit, to which the student somewhat bleakly replied: “It's hard to live in Russia.”
Another user added: “It's good to see someone who usually works a behind-the-scenes job making an effort to better peoples' days with his/her talent. Absolutely beautiful.”
