Alfre Woodard (Marvel’s Luke Cage, Lemony Snickets: A Series of Unfortunate Events), Garrett Hedlund (Mudbound), Kristen Bell (The Good Place) and Sharon Stone (most recently The Disaster Artist) will read out those vying for awards, which - along with being great accolades in and of them themselves - serve as a good prediction for the Academy Awards.

The 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards ceremony will take place on Sunday 7 January with Seth Meyers hosting.
Best Actress is going to be a close one this year. Sally Hawkins ("The Shape of Water")
and Frances McDormand ("Three Billboards") feel like frontrunners, but who'd ever bet against Meryl Streep ("The Post")?
There was criticism of "Get Out"'s decision to enter in the comedy/musical category but it pretty much ensures it the win, whereas it may have struggled in drama.
The consensus on the film desk is that any of the 'Best Picture, Drama' nominees are in with a shout with the exception of "Three Billboards" and possibly "Dunkirk" (though Christopher Nolan might get 'Best Director').
"The Shape of Water" arguably has the best chance given it landed the most noms overall (seven), but the beauty of "Call Me By Your Name" and the political poignance of "The Post" make them dark horses.
Thanks for following and see you on 7 January for the ceremony.
