With just days to go until the release of Suicide Squad, reviewers and selected members of the press are being exclusively shown the movie.

While reviews are embargoed until the second of August, some details have been revealed by certain outlets, including whether there is a mid-credits/post-credits scene.

Regards a mid-credits scene, Comic Book have confirmed there will be extra footage shown, and that it is both “pivotal and important”.

The website revealed no details about what is included in the scene but, if it is pivotal, it will no doubt lead into one of the many upcoming sequels.

Suicide Squad: Official Final Trailer

Meanwhile, unlike Marvel, who prefer fans to hang around until the end of the credits just to see 30 seconds of extra footage, there will apparently be no post-credits scene (one after all the credits have rolled).

Of course, one could be added after these minor screenings for the final film, but as it stands, there is no post-credits scene. This piece will be updated if one is added.

In other Suicide Squad news, a certain member of the Justice League has been confirmed to be in the film after being hinted at in the trailer.
