The cast of Thor: Ragnarok has been growing exponentially in the last few week, with numerous acclaimed actors - including Cate Blanchett, Tessa Thompson, Jeff Goldblum, and Karl Urban - joining the already stellar cast of Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, and Idris Elba.

Thanks to the latest new cast addition, there’s even going to be a Jurassic Park cast reunion in the film; speaking to Shortlist, Sam Neil revealed he will also feature in the Marvel film (Goldblum being the other cast member who featured in Jurassic Park).

“I’m not really allowed to say this and I can’t tell you what it is… I did a couple of days on Thor just before I came over here,” Neill told the publication, adding how he “had to sign all sorts of things. So if I say anything else, Marvel’s secret agents — and they are lethal — will come and get me and probably my children, as well.”

Neil recently worked with Ragnarok director Taika Waititi on the New Zealand-based film Hunt for the Wilderpeople. Plot details for the upcoming superhero film have been kept under wraps yet the film is expected to be based somewhat on the comic-book storyline Planet Hulk, Mark Ruffalo returning as the green monster for the film.

Meanwhile, Neil recently spoke to The Independent with Wilderpeople co-star Julian Dennison, the duo taking our Haiku challenge.
