The Playlist: Blur / Nas featuring Large Professor / Dinosaur Jr. / Jessie Ware / Friends / Azealia Banks featuring Styles P
Under the Westway
Debuted via Twitter earlier this week, this is a mournful piano-led number that wouldn't sound out of place on the band's Great Escape album or The Beatles' Abbey Road.
Nas featuring Large Professor
Another teaser track from Nas's forthcoming "comeback" LP Life Is Good. Every bit as accomplished as his recent collaboration with Rick Ross, Nas is very much back on form.
Watch the Corners
The seminal proto-grunge band continue their string of post-reunion releases with this fuzzy pop number. Could easily have been a track on their 1988 classic Bug.
The video for this excellent electro-pop song was released last week. Already on every new music playlist in the country, prepare to hear this track for a while.
I'm His Girl (Aluna George remix)
Just when you thought you'd finally tired of Friends' best song, along come R&B Aluna George to rework it into a stripped-down electro-dub number.
Azealia Banks featuring Styles P
A lo-fi, muffled beat drives this self-released Azealia Banks song. Styles P adds brightness to the fairly simplistic track but, as always, Banks is the star.
