Watch Arcade Fire's short music film Money + Love starring Toni Collette
The 15-minute film includes two tracks taken from their most recent album
Arcade Fire have released a brand new short film starring Oscar-nominated actress Toni Collette.
The film - titled Money + Love - was unveiled in New York on Wednesday evening (14 March) by the Montreal band alongside longtime friend Spike Jonze.
Collette, who described Arcade Fire as “one of [her] all-time favourite bands,” said: “I was blown away when they asked me to be part of their video. It was a total pleasure acting with them and an even greater pleasure getting to know them. They continue to inspire and I continue to admire. I mean, who gets to do that? I am so lucky!”
Directed by David Wilson, the short includes two tracks taken from Arcade Fire's most recent album Everything Now (“Put Your Money On Me” and “We Don't Deserve Love”).
Following the premiere, the Win Butler-fronted collective played a surprise set to just 600 fans ahead of a string of tour dates that will see them bring their Infinite Content tour to UK venues including Manchester Arena and Wembley's SSE Arena next month.
You can watch the full film for yourself here.
Collette will next be seen in horror film Hereditary which has been branded "the scariest movie in years" following its premiere at Sundance Film Festival in January.
