Foo Fighters singer Dave Grohl has further cemented his reputation as the nicest man in rock, after he broke his leg on stage but returned to finish the concert.
The band was performing their second song during a set at the Ullevi festival in Gothenburg, Sweden, when he fell off stage, The Telegraph reported.
Grohl sustained a serious leg injury from the fall which has not yet been determnined, but the singer told the crowd he believed he had broken his leg, according to Billboard.
In footage of the incident, Grohl can be heard saying: “Ladies and gentlemen…I think I just broke my leg. I think I really broke my leg.”
But he then pledges to return to complete to gig.
“You have my promise right now that the foo fighters, we’re going to come back and finish this show.
“Ladies and gentleman right now, I’m going go to hospital and I’m gonna fix my leg but then I’m going to come back and we’re going to play for you again.”
“I’m so sorry! I’m so sorry!” he tells the crowd, as they cheer for the singer.
The brave frontman returned to the stage 15 minutes later, where he continued playing while a paramedic tended to him.

Grohl isn’t the only singer to show his loyalty to his fans by continuing a concert in the face of a serious inrjury.
Last week, singer Enrique Iglesias stayed onstage after he tried to catch a drone and it sliced his fingers.
