A quartet of avantly inclined souls – including Derek Bailey's drum chum Steve Noble and Stephen O'Malley, guitarist in Sunn0))) – getting into some sort of weird anti-groove live in Oslo.
Don't expect mayhem, though. This is meditative, spacious, profoundly dark music, evidently haunted by Miles Davis's early-1970s excursions into free electronica, as well as the wolves of the Nordic imagination. Not the cool thing to do, but one might sum up by going "plunk! ping!!! zzzzzzsssssscccch".Reuse content
