A pallid English blues pianist, rolling and tumbling through a suite of originals and covers (including Rihanna's "Disturbia"), multitracking his voice like a Dorset Beach Boy on a deserted pierhead with nowt but drums and New Orleans horns for company.
Lonesome, pop-mellifluous, curious indeed, though not always successful. Milner's voice is not gripping, however many times it's multiplied, and the tuba/left-hand bass-womp lacks spring at the bottom of the pond. But a charming effort.
