With an inevitability that feels like a sledgehammer to the skull, Scouting for Girls – the shiny happy people of "She's So Lovely" ubiquity – have Gone Serious with their second album.
They've filled it with tales of emotional break-ups and troubled youths plucked from the pages of Take a Break (although they know which side their bread's buttered, and have thrown in just enough vocoders, Haribo synths and film-star namedrops to keep their fanbase happy).
It's indie pop for Nuts readers. It'll go platinum.
