With Girls Aloud gone for good and two rival Sugababes fighting it out, there's a vacancy for a Great British Girl Group. (The Saturdays? Behave.)

The rise of Stooshe couldn't be better timed. The south London trio's effortlessly assured debut combines classic 1960s soul, streetparty reggae, upfront electro-pop, cackling Night Bus backchat and shameless sexual innuendo. And there is nothing not to love about it. Vacancy hereby filled.
