Steampunk, more an antiquarian aesthetic than a musical movement, is oft derided as "when goths discovered brown".

Leading Steampunkers THTWNBBFN – the name's a Jack the Ripper reference – appear to fit the bill, containing members of goff veterans Creaming Jesus. Their second album of industrial metal and rabble-rousing Oi is packed with droll Victoriana – 1877-meets-1977 fun for when you're in that crumpled top hat, vintage pocket watch mood.
