Album: Tunng,...And Then We Saw Land (Full Time Hobby)
No prizes for surmising that Tunng's latest, fourth effort is that difficult "travel album" which all enterprising artists must get round to at some point in their young lives.
Usually when they've been on a nice holiday. Shanties and that? Well, yes, kind of, in that well-yes-kind-of way that is the Tunng electro-folk-pop thing. It's bright, mobile, tinkly, mannered music which threatens only to bring sunshine into your life. No one is singing for their lives; delight is taken in the noodling of old-world electronics. Everything is great!
