Calum Milan Best is the son of the late football legend George Best, and began a career as a fashion model in LA before becoming a reality TV personality ten years ago.

In 2005 he featured on ITV’s Celebrity Love Island, and went on to win the second series in 2006. Around this time he also played himself in the final episode of ITV hit drama Footballer’s Wives.

Most recently he won Celebrity Bainisteoir on Irish broadcaster RTE, which saw the contestants compete against one another as the managers of intermediate level Gaelic football teams.

He declared himself bankrupt in 2013 after years of “mistakes”. “I was blessed to earn a large amount of money at a young age, and mistakes have come with that. But also lessons learned,” he said.

Age: 33

Why is he there? He says: “I just want to show people the kind of person that I am now. I’ve come from such a dark place of losing my dad then drinking and partying every single night to training and eating well.”

What can we expect in the house? Not as much fun as you might have expected. The former party boy says “I’d be taking 20 steps backwards if I had sex on national television!”

Odds of winning? 8/1
