Want a heads up on what the visa regulations are for visitors to India, how much duty free you can bring back from France, what the main sights are in Yemen or when the best time of year to go to Jamaica is? It's all available here, and quickly searchable by country or region. The site also lists contact details for embassies and tourist boards so, if you're sceptical of any answers, it's easy enough to double-check.

"With so many to choose from, I have purposely stayed away from specific destination websites in this list, but this one deserves a mention in my book because it beats the competition hands down. If only all tourist board websites were as easy to navigate, information packed, stylishly laid out, quick to load and regularly updated."
Are you going to be reviewing specific destination websites at any time ??
There is one for the Algarve called HIP ALGARVE CHANNEL http://www.hipalgarve.net
The site is not a tourist board site BUT it is easy to navigate, stylish, has alot of info already and is building MORE content all the time. It's all video which is cool too !

Sawdays is such a great resource for finding that slightly unusual and magical place to stay. I wrote a blog post about what makes a place special on my blog about slow travel here: http://slowmovesblog.blogspot.com/2
We holidayed in Italy this year and the place we stayed had an excellent site with bundles of hand picked information on how to get the best from your holiday in the Le Marche region, from festas and events to walking and hiking itineraries, kids activities, sightseeing and beaches to outlet shopping or their approach to ecotourism. Oh the link is http://www.villasanraffaello.com/in
covers almost every Asian destination with hotel, shopping, spa, family and general guides. I think its a magazine but don't know if it prints. There have features on best airline seats and boeing vs airbus etc...
I think they cover up to age 85

Many are available world wide and a lot of them are free. The most comprehensive audio trail portal www.audioguide2go.com makes it easy to search for tours by different producers by map or keyword and you can leave a review. You can even upload your own tour.
Ther are many city tours, country trails etc from straight narration,to arty, to dramatic or documentary style. Some are just weird and wonderful.
