Essentials: Ben de lisi

I would describe my style as classic, never overstated, with a bit of American-boy thrown in.

You can't have too many white shirts, and I love the slim-fit, French-cuff-style shirts from Thomas Pink (www.thomaspink.com) with a great pair of Edwin Jeans (available

My Hermès belt (www.hermes.com) in saddle-coloured leather with a silver brushed "H" is essential, but the sexiest part of my wardrove is my Kilgour suits (7-8 Savile Row, London W1, 020 7734 6905). My shoes I get from Prada (43-45 Sloane Street, London SW1, 020 7235 0008) – they are the best.

I always use L'Oréal moisturising lotion (£8, www.boots.com) and Fudge products (www.fudgehair.co.uk) on my hair.

My essential piece of fashion advice is to always keep it simple with one dash of colour, or you look like you've used all your Christmas presents at once.
