Meet the costume designer Dad making his daughter’s fairy tale dreams a reality.

The father of three from Orange County, California is taking dress-up to the next level.

Nephi Garcia makes his daughter’s fairy tale dreams a reality by creating exquisite costumes sure to make her fancy dress box the envy of every kid in town.

Previously a professional couture designer, Garcia quit his job when he realised his career didn’t allow him to spend enough time with his family.

Lili, his six-year-old daughter, can now dress up as Disney princesses ranging from Cinderella to Snow White after inspiring her father when she asked him to make her a costume for their Disney World visit.

Originally from the Philippines, Garcia moved to the US 14 years ago and credits his phenomenal sewing abilities to his Filipino roots, according to Mashable.

"I remember my grandma teaching me how to use a sewing machine... When I was 11 I made my own pyjamas and stuff," he told news outlet ABS-CBN.

He now makes the costumes full-time and the whole family have got involved.

The creativity of the costumes is also something to be marvelled.

Garcia turns fairy godmother by making Cinderella’s plain pink apron Velcro off to reveal the bright blue sparkling gown she wears to the ball.

His version of Belle’s ordinary village outfit also transforms into the unforgettable yellow ball gown made to be twirled for when she dances with the Beast.

He even intricately attaches wire-supported birds to the princess veils.

Each outfit can take up to six hours' work, with adult versions taking up to 48 hours, Garcia says. The children’s dresses are sold for roughly $600 (£460) from his site and made from organic silk.

His Instagram accout now has over 238,000 followers who adore his creations.

“I hate repeating designs, so I always try to vary each dress so that they’re unique,” he told Buzzfeed.

Now Lili and her brothers can dress up to their hearts' content thanks to a dad who threads more than just a sprinkling of fairy dust into each of his magical creations.
