Saturday 24 January, 7.25pm: Warnings of bomb at River Club, Enniskillen. Car bomb explodes just before 10pm. No one hurt. Breakaway republican group, Continuity IRA, is suspected of attack.

8.30pm: Catholic man dragged from home and severely beaten by masked men in Shantallow, Londonderry.

9.30pm: Body of Catholic taxi-driver John McColgan found dumped on country road, west Belfast. Loyalist Volunteer Force suspected.

9.40pm: Pipe bomb thrown at house of Catholic family in Carrickfergus, Co Antrim. Fails to explode.

10.30pm: Suspicious device discovered in Lurganboy Park, Newtownbutler. Found to be elaborate hoax.

Sunday 25 January, 6.15am: Bomb in alleyway in south Belfast defused safely.

7.45am: Catholic lorry-driver shot and injured in Lurgan. LVF claims responsibility.
