If you’re the sort of person who thinks pineapple on pizza is a step too far, then look away now.
Deliveroo , on Tuesday, unveiled a limited-edition dessert pizza in time for Easter, dubbed the "Fior-egg-tina" - a sweet take on the Italian classic Fiorentina, which traditionally features spinach, mozzarella, tomatoes and eggs.
Pizza maker Crust Bros' version replaces the savoury flavours with a macerated strawberry base, mascarpone, mint and Cadbury ’s Creme Egg.
Instead of extra parmesan sprinkled on top, chocolate lovers can also customise their pizza with crunchy Mini Egg sprinkles.
Joe Groves, of Deliveroo, admitted combining both flavours seemed “mad”.
“We know that people love to indulge in chocolate at Easter, and we wanted to come up with a creative way to help. Creme Eggs and Mini Eggs are a British institution and pizza has always been a firm favourite of Deliveroo customers,” Mr Groves said.

Food and drink news McDonald's has announced the launch of a new vegan burger on its menu in Germany This will mark the first time the German franchise of the fast food chain has offered a vegan burger to its customers.
