Wiz Khlaifa has been cited for urinating in public, according to police in Pittsburgh.

The rapper was caught in the act outside The Flats bar at 2.30am on Saturday morning, the city’s public safety spokesperson Sonya Taylor said.

The 28-year-old, whose real name is Cameron Jibril Thomaz, received a 'non-traffic citation', which is “basically a ticket” according to the Associated Press agency.

Khalifa hails from the Pennsylvanian city, which is acknowledged in his debut song Black and Yellow — a reference to the Pittsburgh Steelers NFL team. He currently lives in the nearby suburb, Canonsburg.

In August, the rapper posted a collection of tweets and Instagram images saying he had been arrested at Los Angeles International airport after allegedly being told he could not ride a hoverboard on the premises.

The Independent has approached a representative for Khalifa for comment.
