Cash machine hands out 'free money' in Manchester
Anyone who withdrew £10 received £20
A faulty cash machine in Manchester mistakenly dispensed double the amounts of money requested on Wednesday night.
As a result, anyone who withdrew £10 received £20.
Tesco bosses said a glitch to machinery at the store in Fallowfield - located in the centre of the city's student suburb - caused the problem from around 10pm.
Locals tweeted pictures of long queues for the cash machine at the Wilmslow Road store - or what, if any, action will be taken against those who exploited the glitch.
It is not known how much money was taken from the machine.
