Four people shot in Los Angeles while setting up a barbecue

All four victims, who are in their 20s, were rushed to a nearby hospital.

Four people who were setting up a barbecue were outside their South Los Angeles home were struck by gunfire on Sunday morning.

Two to four gunmen approached the family and began firing in the driveway near 84th Street and Towne Avenue at 9:45am PT, NBC Los Angeles reports.

All four victims, who are in their 20s, were transported to a local hospital. ABC 7 reports that one victim is listed in critical condition and three others were listed as stable.

Los Angeles Police Department officials said that they believe the shooting was related to gang activity in the Florence neighborhood.

The gunmen are still at large and LAPD officials said the investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
