Famed rapper and producer Kanye West turned 38 on Monday and his wife Kim Kardashian-West threw a surprise party for him at Staples Center.

Ms Kardashian-West planned appearances by John Legend, the Laker Girls, Shaquille O’Neal, John Wall and many other celebrities. She allegedly dropped more than $100,000 to book the home court of the Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers.
