24 min: Chance for United! Rashford plays Darmian in behind near the right-hand side byline. The Italian cuts it back with his second to Martial in the box who controls the delivery with his left before snapping at it on his right. He can't find the goal, though, and his effort sprays wide of the post.
58 min: Rojo whips in a delivery from the left and Martial darts to meet it. He rises high but Feyenoord's Botteghin pips him to it and nods the danger clear of the box.
60 min: The big man is getting ready on the sideline. It looks like it's Zlatan time!
62 min: Pogba with a long-range effort from the right. It zips through the air at waist height but it's wide of the post. Goal kick.
FULL TIME: Feyenoord 1-0 Manchester United
Despite threatening on occasion, United were distinctively average tonight. The visitors enjoyed only a handful of genuine chances on goal, with Martial coming closest in the first half, but as with last season United lacked creativity and dynamism in the middle. Rashford worked hard to create opportunities for his side, admittedly, but even he couldn't deliver this evening and he was substituted, perhaps unfairly, with 20 minutes to go. After two consecutive defeats, United will need to respond strongly in their next game to shake off the ghost of LVG...
